Fiona’s design education has stretched across Europe, from Glasgow School of Art to Köln International School of Design and Les Atelier, Paris. After this wealth of cultural exploration, and finding herself with the urge to nest, she set up home in Glasgow as a recent graduate in 2014. She is currently juggling mothering two under three and working for a competitive digital design agency, with her freelance adventures in the evenings. Fiona has never owned a TV.
She was brought up as part of a large family, beginning life on a croft on the west coast of Scotland. With a strong belief in enhancing education through hands on experiences, her extensive studies of curriculum reform (through a design lens) lead to her final year project; Pop-Up Education, a service to connect teachers to a library of educational kits. If you are interested there is an opportunity to get involved as Fiona is currently seeking participants for the pilot phase.
