The shapes learnt in early years education are available to see in the symmetries that appear in nature. This 20 page PDF handbook lays out the steps to see these shapes with an abundance of examples to demonstrate how to see the shapes.
Volume 1 of the handbook includes the shapes and symmetries connected to numbers 1-6. Circle, Square, Triangle, pentagon and hexagon. Also includes an explanation of the geometric explosion of these numbers in the various forms.
